/Mo is nice for condition removal in the form of [skill]Mending Touch[/skill], but I'd leave that for condition heavy areas. I'd go with Elementalist for one of the Conjure spells.
Also Oath Shot Flare gogogo. :P

I'd go for Ritualist for your secondary, they both use spirits right? So, I'm figuring the Rit's spirit skills may enhance you Ranger spirits. Useful? I'm not sure, but it would be fun experimenting with.
NOTE: This is coming from a non-Ranger player, so be sure and check out whether this would be useful before you decide. I'm sure someone will let you know if this is a good idea in the next reply or so. The words wtf or lol or baed will most likely be in the reply somewhere. lol
When I first joined a guild (Nov, 2005), my guild leader wanted me to make a R/Me for some GVG build he had in mind using Winter and Mantra of Frost. Not too long after that, he quit for WoW. That same R/Me is still only lvl 19 and just arrived at the Crystal Desert about a week ago, so obviously I have severely neglected this poor Ranger. I honestly haven't found a way to make this profession as fun to play as my Warrior, Monk, or Nec.

Way back then, the mantra of frost/winter was being used as passive energy management for a team when your team also used QZ and Greater Conflagration. It actually was pretty interesting, but slow since so many of the teams skills were devoted to either e-denial or e-management.
Anywhoo, enough of memory lane.
It really doesn't matter what secondary you choose. I'd recommend any of them for different reasons. So pick one however you like (I usually go with whichever other class I like) you could pick ele since you're familiar with it, or something else just because you aren't. Before you know it you'll be able to change your secondary profession whenever you want. The most common for ranger would be at a guess (no made up statistics today, just a guess) /mo, /ele, /rit and /nec with the rest following not so far behind. I've been having a lot of fun in Hard mode playing /dervish lately.
